Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Chuang served families across Plano with remarkable attentiveness and deep empathy. He practiced family medicine with Medical City Plano, where he became widely known for his gentle bedside manner and his ability to connect authentically with every patient under his care. To many, he was not only a physician, but a trusted advisor, advocate, and source of comfort. Countless patients described him as someone who truly listened—someone who treated not just symptoms, but the whole person with dignity and respect.
Born in Taiwan, Dr. Chuang moved to Texas as a teenager, bringing with him a strong work ethic, resilience, and gratitude for each new opportunity. He went on to earn his undergraduate degree from Baylor University and attended Ross University School of Medicine before completing his residency at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. Board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, he upheld the highest standards of clinical excellence and lifelong learning. His professional affiliations—including the Texas Medical Association, the Collin-Fannin County Medical Society, the Jefferson Physician Group, and the Attention Deficit Disorder Association—reflected his dedication to advancing the field of medicine and supporting patient advocacy.
One of the most meaningful aspects of Dr. Chuang’s career was the privilege of working alongside his mentor, Dr. Young, founder of the practice. After Dr. Young’s retirement, Dr. Chuang stepped into a leadership role with humility and honor, committed to preserving the practice’s mission of compassionate, patient-centered care. He dedicated himself to supporting individuals and families navigating ADHD, guiding patients toward healthier, more hopeful futures.
Beyond his medical knowledge, Dr. Chuang will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his patience, and his heartfelt commitment to those he served.
