Between 6:00 and 6:30 p.m., officers from the Tiffin Police Department arrived at the home after receiving reports of a shooting. Upon entering the residence, officers discovered two adult men and two children suffering from gunshot wounds. One of the children was transported by air ambulance to a nearby hospital, but despite lifesaving efforts, the child later died. The second child and both adult men were pronounced dead at the scene.
According to Police Chief David Pauly, investigators have concluded that the incident was a murder-suicide, though authorities have not yet confirmed which of the adults fired the weapon.
